The advantage with the mouse is the ability to linger around longer in a scene, as the characters in the game are just so wonderful to listen to, somewhat voyeuristic, but in a poetic sort of way. You don’t need anything special as a standard setup should suffice, but rest assured you can play without one, which was my first experience, using a mouse. The game is designed to be played with a webcam as it tracks your eye movements and blinking. The webcam or cursor will track your movements, and a literal blink or click will propel you forward in a series of memoriesīut before describing the events, it’s essential to know how innovative Before Your Eyes is. But before this can happen, he wants to know more about you, and to do that, the story shifts to your experiences growing up, very much like your life flashing before your eyes. He proceeds to inform you that you will be taken to the guardian, and pending you pass the test, will be accepted into her realm. Without any features or appendages other than a suggested eye, all you can do is blink to acknowledge your understanding. What is Earth like in this universe now? We get only a glimpse of it in the first movie, but it must be pretty bad, since the RDA is trying to make Pandora a new home for humanity.Told from a first-person perspective, it appears that your soul has been selected, perhaps at random, by a wolf-like ferryman.She also shows up in prequel comic Higher Ground, which is based on Cameron's first draft for the sequel, and reveals more of the events between movies. Why do we see so little of the human invaders? General Frances Ardmore ( Edie Falco) is pretty intense but is basically forgotten after giving Quaritch his mission.What happened to Ian Garvin ( Jemaine Clement), the marine biologist who seemed sympathetic to the Pandoran natives, after the whaling vessel was destroyed? He seemed like a potential ally for the Na'vi.Why was the introduction of the miracle substance that can halt human aging so casual? It's way more intriguing than unobtanium, the valuable mineral the RDA was hunting for in the first movie.Did Spider let Sully and Neytiri know that he saved their homicidal nemesis? It's likely that Quaritch will develop greatly in further sequels, since he's developed a bond with his son and is adopting some of the Na'vi ways.What's the deal with Kiri? She has a seizure when she connects with Grace through the tree - likely because she and her late mother share the same soul or something - but seems to have a deeper connection with Pandora's flora and fauna than other Na'vi.20th Century Studios Unanswered questions Kiri's mysterious link to her late mother appears to have given her special abilities. There are beautiful interpretations of some imagery from the movie in the initial credits sequence though, so it's worth sticking around for that. You don't need to sit through Avatar: The Way of Water's long credits sequence for a hint about the third movie, it doesn't have a mid- or post-credits scene. The final shot sees Sully opening his eyes, mirroring the end of the first movie. I guess that'll happen in Avatars 3, 4 and 5 (scheduled to come out in 2024, 20). ![]() Sully accepts they can't keep running from the human invaders - they have to fight. It suggests that the being they encountered is a mixture of Neteyam's spiritual energy and his parents' memories of him. It allows them to see Neteyam, who fluctuates between his teenage self and a child as he talks to Sully. Sully and Neytiri go to the Cave of the Ancestors and connect to the Metkayina's spiritual tree, allowing them to commune with Eywa. ![]()
